Reaching out for help may be easier from the privacy of your home. Using your computer or phone*, access confidential counseling from a licensed therapist for conditions like ADD/ADHD, anxiety, mental health disorders, addiction and depression.

Includes:

  • Private video session
  • Support for adults, children, and teens, including diagnosis, treatment, and medication, if necessary
  • The same standard of care as in-person visits, allowing you to maintain a consistent relationship with your therapist

 

Support with Benefit Ally

With UnitedHealthcare Benefit Ally® included in your medical plan, you will automatically receive a check when a qualified, covered medical event is identified. You won’t need to file claims or submit receipts and you can use the money any way you like.

Covered services include:

  • Accidents such as ambulances, emergency room visits, urgent care, X-rays or MRIs and follow-up provider visits
  • Critical illnesses* such as cancer, heart attack and stroke
  • Indemnity such as hospital or intensive care unit (ICU) admissions and stays

A simpler claims process

If you are covered by both a UnitedHealthcare medical plan and a supplemental health plan – such as Accident, Critical Illness and/or Hospital Indemnity – Benefit Assist is available to you. Included in your plan at no additional cost, the program is designed to help streamline the claims process and make sure you get the benefits you re eligible for – and get them more easily.

Here’s how:

  • A Benefit Assistant proactively looks for eligible medical claims that qualify for a claim payment.
  • When they find a claim, they will reach out to you personally to help submit the claim quickly and accurately- some may be paid automatically.

Help paying for care

Care Cash® is a preloaded debit card to use toward cost sharing for certain network health care expenses, like deductibles and copays. It comes loaded with $200 for individual or $500 for family plans, and it can be used to help pay for:

  • Primary care and premium care specialist visits
  • Urgent care visits
  • Outpatient behavioral health visits

When it comes to behavioral health, sometimes it just helps to have someone to talk to. With the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), you can reach an EAP coordinator 24/7 online or by phone for confidential conversation and referrals to expert care and services. EAP can help you and your family:

  • Improve relationships at home or wok​
  • Work through emotional issues or grief​
  • Get legal or financial assistance​

If you’re thinking about having a baby or have one on the way, maternity support provides information and resources on everything from pregnancy planning to postpartum care.

The Sweat Equity® program allows you to earn up to $200 every 6 months for meeting program exercise requirements.
